How do i successfully plan this camping trip?

Me and my wife's anniversary of the day we me is in a couple of days, and i want to take her on the camping trip of her life. I plan to drive to the grand canyon and camp in their mountains, literally. My friend found a nice secluded spot on the edge of the canyon enough for two. He plans to meet us there and direct us in his special way. How do i successfully proceed a campfire, and all other camping necessities while on the mountain?
