Jailbroken iphone can get better reception?

My iphone 4 is jailbroken. I'm about to leave for camp where there is no reception at all, and i was wondering if there was a way or if it was even possible to get reception? My camp is in the middle of no where in a canyon and i wasn't sure if it was possible to still text or use pandora (because there is no internet either)
