Oh NO!! I deleted something I didn't want to!?

I was uploading some photos from my iPod touch 4 onto my MacBook Pro for a video and when I finished uploading them I accidentally pressed "Delete Photos" and I didn't want to do this so I pulled out the plug as quick as possible but it managed to delete some really important video clips that I needed, so when was uploading the videos onto iMovie and noticed they weren't there I started to panic because they were from my Grade 6 trip to Canberra and I can never get the same pictures again. I'm about to burst into tears!! How can I restore them!
