Help! My *** started to bleed after last night's big...?

fall off a ledge at the Grand Canyon. It was dark and he couldn't see and he tripped and fell and I think he broke his ankle. I was ok, but all my stuff got ruined in mud (it was raining). Now his foot is bleeding and I think it might be infected! Should I take him to a vet or do something on my own? Help!
