If I were to melt a cheese form moon would i have the right amount of cheese for a grand canyon filled with ch?

Me and My friend Ruth were talking about how if we had a remote to the moon we would convert it to cheese, fill the grand canyon with chips and melt the cheese over top the Grand Canyon. Would we have the right amount of cheese?
