Can anyone tell me where is a good place to live in Adelaide, if i'm moving to work at Flinders University?

I'm moving there to go to med school at Flinders uni and then onto to do my internship at the local hospital. I have no idea what i'm getting myself into as i have NEVER been there before and won't get the chance to go before I have to apply for the uni. I need to know decent suburbs near flinders and prices as I will probably buy. Is flinders far from the city? And is Adelaide awesome? PLEASE HELP it's either Adelaide or Canberra,so i really need your thoughts. Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
