How cold is the winter going to be in Canberra?

I'm new in Australia and come from a fairly warm country. I'm already finding the cold very annoying. Nowadays, the temperature reaches as low as -1 or -2 at night. How cold does it get in winter? What's the lowest temperature we can expect?
